... and food trucks but none of them looked that clean and the food was all the same fried stuff. After walking around for a while we settled on a food court in a trashy mall. The food was awful and expensive but we paid up and ate it. We walked back across the Rainbow Bridge into Canada. ... We loved every minute of it! We then did the walk beside the rapids. The water is rushing past so very fast. Then on our way home we discovered just about every shop shuts early - at about 5 or 6pm. Not leaving much choice for dinner but oh well. On our way walking along in the park we watched the squirrels and the chipmunks. We could watch them all day collecting their nuts and burying them in the soil, digging up others and rehiding them. So very cute ...

Well we made it! We are snug and tucked in finally after a long day - packing in the morning and driving all day. We're staying at the Niagara Falls KOA. We arrived pretty late - around 8:30 PM. We didn't leave Storrs until around 11:15 am. No problems getting the camper out of the driveway even though it was LOADED down with pretty much everything.

It's self-guided and you go at your own pace so you can spend as much or as little time as you wish. Our kids wanted to spend more time than most so we got wetter than most. There is one level called the Hurricane Deck where you are being pounded by water at high velocity, almost like being in a Force 5 gale. ...
