Our destination Monday was to travel into Tampa Bay for an evening hockey game. Left our apt. By 2pm and found ourselves in the heart of downtown very quickly so made a quick decision to hike over to the TB History center . It was wonderfully informative on the history and settling of the city and the surrounding area. The Indians were here when the first invasions from the Spanish occurred in the 1500 s and still much later ...
... we spent about an hour on the beach. It was packed. We assume with kids on spring break. So now we have dipped our toes in the Atlantic on the east coast of Florida and the Gulf of Mexico on the west side.
Our drive back to Orlando was supposed to take 1 hour 45 min again but the traffic was againg solid all the way past Tampa city and it took us 2 & 3/4 hours.
Cooked dinner at our hotel tonight. Roast chicken and veggies. Nice.
... s at Clearwater for food and vodkas ;) after the meal we crossed the road to see the Greg Billings Band, they was amazing ! Then moved onto our last stop for the night, Billy G's for a nightcap, I decided to go onto cokes as it was a long ride back to the house and didn't want to get done with a DUI! Everyone was in fancy dress for Halloween, all our friends was there Lenny, Lauren, Kay, Ace, Steve, Linda and Dale, so it was a perfect ending to a great day :) Miles rode today: ...

I've been craving junk food and they have natcho 'baskets' with guacamole/cheese/egg rolls - 2 kinds of beer (Budweiser) and red/white wine......liquor is limited to 2 drinks fortunately for me no
limit on the natchos!!
Tomorrow morning Pam wants to visit the Holaucast museum - not sure what I will do but might
go for a swim......pictures follow!
