When we arrived it was daylight, and so weird as we did not get the feeling of being in Vegas initially without the neon lights.

However we were quickly swept up in the atmosphere and before ...

I was singing just a whisper, for many reasons: one, because the words were not quite complete, but moreso because I promised this girl that she would be the first to hear it. Before I left Colorado, I gave her a card that read "...someday maybe I will write a happy song about all of the beautiful things ...

... were here, it was also after another day on the slopes; it was Brian's "birthday" that time and he got to do the chicken dance. Remembering how funny that was, we managed to convince Jane to be my birthday proxy and told our server that it was Jane's birthday; she was a very good sport and did a better chicken dance than Brian - thanks Jane!

Another eventful day :) We said goodbye to Brian and then later to my uncle, and Jane and I drove back to Orange County. ...
