After watching his swing, which was shorter that Mr. No Backswing Dave Granneman, we were NOT impressed. Tyler made the mistake of playing from the blacks with him, and though he often outdrove him, it usually was hiding under a rattlesnake in the desert! : ) ...

... dressing gowns to see us floating in the air. Admiring the sights, it was time to land. Mr BM (Balloon Man) gently settled us in a school playground. We waited around for the vans to come and get us but no one came! Apparently they couldn't get to us and deflate the balloon, so back into the sky we went for round two.

We were in the air for quite sometime while Mr Balloon Man tried to call his people ...

... aber nicht: Zum Sky Harbor Airport sind es von Scottsdale keine 15 Minuten Fahrt, die Abgabe des Mietwagens geht anstandslos über die Bühne, für die rote Dreckkruste im Radkasten interessiert sich kein Mensch. Insgesamt sind wir genau 2.205 Meilen mit dem Kia gefahren, also gut 3.500 Kilometer. Geht eigentlich für eine Südwest-Rundreise. Aber wir hatten halt auch wenige lange Fahrtage im Gegensatz zu den Reisen, bei denen wir in San Francisco oder Los Angeles gestartet sind.

... and carrots, topped off with a great mixed-green salad. That Lynn can cook... but you all know that. Tonight we have to decide if we'll stay on. The cut-off for re-upping is nine AM. Check-out is noon. The three hours in between are a mystery to me... Oh, by the way, I now can use my Droid phone to access the internet on my Mac Laptop... So, I can do the blog as time permits.
