Having covered the 5.5 km, I arrived on Hollywood Blvd, and could see the big HOLLYWOOD sign on the Hill. I was here, Hollywood Baby, Yeah!!

Strolling along Holywood Blvd, I began the Walk of Fame following the 'stars' aligning the pavement. In no particular ...

... ago in Vermont. She was in the Sailing Department that I was head of. It was so great to see her and have a catch up and hear about people from camp over the past two summers that I haven't been there for. I'm glad to know I hadn't missed out on anything too great but I could have guessed that anyway. We went and visited the cemetery where Marilyn Monroe is buried and other famous people too but I didn't recognise their names. The grave was a weird one - it was ...

... we've all eaten way too much, so a strict exercise program will start next week. Most nights we have eaten in restaurants and the cost has been under $25/head for a 2 course meal including a couple of drinks. We found that alcohol is very cheap in the country areas (bourbons, gin, rums - 700ml mostly under $25) but once you get into the bigger cities the price goes up considerably.

The scenery in the National Parks & Monuments just blows ...
