We ran activities during the night shift and quickly found out this was about to be a restless rowdy bunch. I was put in the Pelicans room (ages 3-7) this contract and we had a lot of 3 and 4 year olds that either had no idea what we were asking of them or just did not want to listen at all. Nobody could sit still or be quiet when needed. We learned we would be averaging about 50 kids in our age group each session. Here goes nothing! ...

They were bloody good fun, I let out little screams & jumped loads but I also had a laugh with some of the people dressed up as I made faces/noises back at them or started normal conversations. I do worry about the fact some of the guys looked fit even made up to look scary!! We did go in the RIP lounge a couple drinks & have a couple of our free drinks.

... sand dunes and all! A great bus ride and 8 hours flew by. At one point the bus was stopped by border control as we were so close to Mexico and we had to show our passports. The homeland security guard was huuuuuge but very polite calling us Sir and Ma’am then told us to stay safe…very considerate of him ;)

Melbourne to LA

... and discover the reason for the delay was due to an engineering problem with some of the toilets. The choices were to proceed with the flight with I think 5 toilets unusable or cancel the flight. Thankfully they chose option 1 otherwise our plans would be somewhat stuffed up. All this really means is that we have a longer queue for the loo. I am writing this at 7pm Australian time (sat 31st) which is 2am LA time ( sat 31st) and we have another 5 hours to go to ...
