      Something strange happened in Los Angeles last night - it rained. Not very much, but some. When we went to bed last night there was a report on the news that for the year (ended 31 July) to date Los Angeles has had just over one inch of rain when in a normal year by this time it would have seven inches.       ... they could train cats to do what they did).  The timing was great, and this was actually my favourite part of the day.  Then it was time for the dolphin show, with some birds thrown in.  Again - seeing these dolphins jump and flip was really amazing.   There is so much to take in...we ended up far near the top.  One funny part was when the dolphins were splashing people, and this couple thought they'd be smart ...

      ... in the medieval land again, and it takes a lot of persuasion to get the kids to come on the Dragon rollercoaster with us, as the entrance is a little dark. We eventually manage to get them to come – and of course, they really enjoyed it (no photos unfortunately, but the ride starts off in a castle, then heads outdoors).
