... to sleep we stopped by the Redwood National Park visitor’s center to get our national park book stamped that we bought in Washington, D.C last Thanksgiving. We did pretty well this vacation. We have stamps from Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, Olympic National Park, and Redwood National Park.

... Monument. Mom and I came here a few years ago and I absolutely loved it, so I wanted to go again. This also added to my delayed departure, but it was totally worth it. These are the first redwoods I've ever seen and holy moly are they beautiful. The words I decided on while I was walking through are "ethereal grandeur" and "humble quietness." They stand so tall and noble, yet it's amazingly quiet in the park considering how many people are walking through. ...
