    ... a gang of tankers lined up to head out to sea. It's pretty, and a nice small town. While most things weren't open on Christmas day, the downtown is obviously trying to make up for the closed canneries and lost lumber jobs by catering to the tourists. There were many restaurants, gift shops, theaters, and such.

    ... 8211; dog lovers, enjoy.

    We did another walk on the beach in Pacific City and look who is getting the “photo bug”!! He is using his Kindle Fire which takes great photos. It was low tide and we could get close to the star fish.

    We left this morning and off to Seaside for 2 weeks. Sunshine is here and a beautiful day. This is our biking town and we like visiting and biking in Astoria again.

    ... going out and the light was beautiful. We took a stroll with the other families and couples that had also opted to end their day in such a pleasant way and watched the tide going out. We did see these strange blue things a lover the beach that we have never seen before. Kind of like a plastic pull top off of a yogurt container but smaller and slightly squished. Very curious. No one else seemed to know what they were either.
