... had lots of expenses ahead of us.

We managed to cross into Tennessee for lunch and stopped at Jellico for fuel and lunch. Before this trip I was unaware that diesel costs more than gasoline in the States. A salad at Wendy's did the trick for lunch and then we drove through the beautiful fall colors of the mountains. There are also lots of Sycamore trees alongside the highway. Their leaves look somewhat like Maple leaves but their ...

... It was beautiful! We just left Waynesville NC where we spent some time with our friends Flagg and Carole. This area is just amazing. Everywhere you look you are surrounded by the beautiful Smoky Mountains. While there we visited the Biltmore Estate in Ashville and loved it. We are spending the night in Forsythe GA then on to White Springs Fl. We will be home either Tues or Wed after four great months on the road and lots of ...

... morning today. Headed for the laundromat and did up a couple of loads, then went adventuring. Went to the mounds at Ocmulgee National Monument and had a great visit. Good museum and video, amazing gathering mound with chief's circle, and visits to outside of funeral and other mounds. A bit of a walk for me through the river / backwater area with herons and egrets. Then it was on to the Fish and Pig for a great supper. Back to the camp early for some quiet time. A great ...

... at Cordele. For some unknown reason, our gas was pumped at $3.01 (never thought I’d think of $3.01 a gallon as a bargain!) and we rang up 50 gallons. That almost made up for the flat, the broken jack and two busted DVD players. But the best was yet to come. We should have purchased lottery tickers! At about 6 PM, we ended at High Falls River State Park. As we entered the park, we noticed 15-20 Movie ...
