Today was a nice day. Since the venue was an arena, load in / load out went smoothly. Building the Main LED screen was nice because it was just myself and two others. (John and Tom, both of which are from PRG Nocturne). It is much quieter, with less error when we are able to slow down and do it right. We were not fighting to see or communicate with each ...

... constant slamming of the two lavatory doors. Yeah....it was not great....live and learn....I will be complaining to Delta about that fleecing that we took.On the bright side, we did arrive in Atlanta almost an hour early, and Passport Control/Customs was pretty painless....and then, once we were finally thru it all, we checked the boards and there was a Tulsa flight boarding, set to leave in about 20 minutes! So we hightailed it to that gate and we got on that earlier flight! ...

Rice back to Hamburgers

... embarrassing to Westerners. More food than you can eat, more attention than you would like is given to you as the guest of honor. The kids will miss being the center of attention wherever they go!

The most important aspect of the trip that made it worthwhile for me was the kids I chaperoned. Even though I missed my family, 18 days is along time, I was invigorated daily by their enthusiasm, ...
