... the late afternoon yesterday we stopped at Orchard State Beach and I got the full impact of Lake Michigan. I've got to say, I'm not sure I'm buying this 'lake' business. It's got waves, cliffs, beaches, storms, the works. I might be persuaded to call it an inland sea, but Lake? Nah. Way too impressive for a mere lake (see video if you need more evidence).

... very relieved after 30 minutes when the storm passed out over Lake Michigan and produced one of the best sunsets of our trip.
The next day we started by taking a 4 mile hike along Lake Michigan. We rewarded ourselves after exercising with miniature golf (which we tied in), cheese and wining tasting, and some afternoon beers at some of the local bars in Fish Creek. Our time in Door County concluded with yet another sunset and drinks and food around our campfire.
