... fact. However, the lovely inhabitants of the dodgey streets did occasionally meander onto my street. Prime example- a lady using a fork to scrape a piece of paper off the pavement and put it into a shopping cart full of paper and sheets. ... and birds all along the coast, but the road is in great condition. The Big Sur is a range of mountains that sits just back from the coast and the 101 lies between the Pacific and that range providing spectacular twisty riding with lots to see.
Enjoyed crab sandwiches along the way and met the local beach life guard who along with preventing the assorted beach drowning etc was also tooled up with pistol, taser etc as he also is the law ...
