      ... Whitcomb on Market Street which was to be our home for the next 4 days, we set off to tour the city on foot taking in the centre, Union Square, Chinatown and the waterfront. The waterfront used to be docks, piers and a fishing port but today is largely turned over to tourism.       ... area to stay as we got rid of all of the young people with backpacks that were begging for money - likely to purchase another hit of pot or worse. The older transient population was sleeping in some of the down town parks which made them a bit uncomfortable to walk through - but there were people walking their dogs and so we felt safe with them being around.
      Today we returned our rental car and are heading to Mexico City for the next few days.

      Once a upon a time there were several girls who went to school in Limuru, Kenya. Up in tigoni hills amongst the tea plantations. They used to make up stories of great adventures they would have in the future. These girls were the graduating class of 99.
