      ... since we both watch Boardwalk Empire and it is where Al Capone was incarcerated. Overall San Fran was probably our least favourite place of the trip - it was quite dirty, there were heaps of beggars and drug addicts freaking out in he city which made it feel rather unsafe. The outskirts areas of the place - like Napa, Sonoma and San Jose (where Google is) - are beautiful and more appealing to me. Now we are off to LA for our final leg of our trip!!!

      Check in was easy and we board our plane to our first and only connection in LAX which then goes directly to Heathrow, London.       ... place has not changed at all, the cells are still functional, with sinks and toilets and still have beds in and some original objects and possessions, just imaging the previous inhabitants walking the same halls, and sleeping right there, it's just so surreal.

      ... including uploading over 200 photos, and went next door for dinner about 7pm. It's a 24 hour Happy Days style 1950's diner with music to suit, called Lorie's Diner. The meals are large. Our waiter told us that we were his first ever customers - he had just started the job.
