      After a few scares at O'Hare (no Australian visa- apparently we needed one!, airline split up our reservation, flight delays to San Fran) we made it to San Francisco with 4 hours to spare before the flight. The BART information counter tells us there is no way to know when San Francisco service will be restored that day and I start to wish I had done this BART to SFO experiment on any other day than today.
