    ... was. We also had a chance to see the hiking trail that Winnie had been telling us about. It was an incredibly narrow and steep set of stone stairs leading down one side and up the other and it was absolutely crammed full of Chinese tourists making their way down to the statue. We decided that our boat trip was going to be just fine when we saw that and after snapping a couple more pictures we made our way back to shore and hopped in the car again.

    ... mask. A Chinese woman working on the train came shouting down the aisle selling things at the same time so that was us awake for the day. Another chinese man did the best sale of a towel I had ever seen without us understanding a word he said. Squirting all kinds of sauces onto it and showing how easy it came off. Shame we already had one (Micro fibre towels made in china).

    ... they wanted 130 for the pleasure!! We opted out but a couple of people in our tour group parted with their cash and had their photo taken. They said it was good but it was all over in about 30 seconds - straight away we were relieved that we didn't pay all that money. In the 30 minutes we were waiting outside there must have been at least 30 people queuing to have their photo taken with the panda, and at 130 per person that is 3,900.00!!
