  • Athens...The Greeks...The Philosopher's...The Acropolis!!!!
    We got up early, had breakfast and met our tour guide in the hotel lobby...George is his name, works for Niko and we got a four hour tour of Athens...Great way to go!
    George gave us a quick lowdown of the history of Greece, Athens and then the Acropolis. He had books, pictures and his tablet to fill in the holes and then he shoved us out the door of the tour ...

Hi EveryoneWe left Santorini this morning, we had to, the weather turned overcast! You can't be there when the weather is not shiny...it just won't do!
We took a taxi to the airport and flew Aegean Air back to Athens...Mark Aegean Airlines on your list off rip-offs. They charged us $30 per bag....no free bag. Then they told us we could go on line and buy discounted bag check...only we couldn't because we booked through Star ...

... I lost my brother and best friend, but I am surrounded by great friends, family, co-workers (who are sometimes more of the first two than they may know) and my son, I'm following through on Joel's wish for the two of us with this trip...and above it all, I get to eat my roll.
