... and the officious Chinese immigration officer let us through no problems - didn't even want the form. There's a metro stop right at the airport so it's pretty easy to get right into town. Pretty easy if you know where you want to go. We took a punt on a station and had to change from the orange line to the blue line. Colour codes make language barriers so much easier! Guangzhou.Another day, A completely different city
... today.. it is situated in the newer more modern area of Haizhu ..taxi or metro? One walk into the station with it's predominately chinese signage, no english speaking staff and a change of lines required.. I opted for the taxi .. showed the taxi a photo of Canton tower..Chigang Pagoda it is ..and ..it was amazing! Towering above all around it, the parks and gardens in bloom made it quite an oasis in this bustling metropolis.
