... They could fix both for $300. What the F.... I thought things were cheaper once you left California. We decided to get the break pads replaced and leave the fuel cap as is, since i had not seen an issue with the fuel lock. At this point i was starting to lose confidence in Brandon's round smiley face. I think it was also at this point that i realized he resembled Ricky Gervais', David Brent character from the office! ... little to see on the inter state but the detour was well worth it.
The hotel was nice; food places within walking distance; great laundry which is always a god send for a biker and food becomes a priority at the end of a long day.
We are on the road at 7am in the morning as we have to get through Chicago to get to Milwaukee for the 110th anniversary long weekend.
... three and a half months.
For those of you who don't know, I'm headed to South Africa for the semester. I will be studying community health and social policy in Durban. I head out on August 21st, out of Chicago O'Hare. It's quite a long journey over to South Africa, but I am so excited to experience all that this adventure has to offer, and to share those experiences on this blog!
... collect our held mail; and Carol and Tammi will make a grocery run . . . and we'll gradually get out of vacation mode!
