After loading all our goodies back into the car we drove around the island for a couple of hours. The scenery is beautiful.... Oh, and we found a WalMart - I'm excited as they usually have postcards and souvenirs less expensively than the tourist shops. We'll stop there another time.

... very lush with flowering plants such as colourful bouganvilleas, yellow hibiscus, African Tulip Trees and of course the green of the palm trees and coconut trees and many more besides.

Once back on the bus, Lisa partly retraced our route and got back on the main road to out next stop. We passed coffee plantations which replaces sugar cane fields that were wiped out in a massive hurricane several years ago. The island used to have pineapple farms ...

... seconds. Some parts of the island are better than others. The north and east sides tend to come and go in waves because of the way the mountains are lined up, the south side is usually almost always sunny and nice, and on the west side you can pretty much bank on getting your tan on and having the best of weather.
