... had a mini mass. After church we picked up a couple of things from Whole Foods Market so mum and dad could cook dinner. They made meatballs, they were really nice. Then we drove to a park with lots of Christmas lights and walked around in the cold looking at all the pretty lights. For example, restrooms that don’t cost $2 to use, regular bed sheets rather than these pocket sheets they use over here, food labels in the grocery store in that are in English – we had to interpret everything from the picture on the package - sunshine, regular old turkey & Swiss sandwiches rather than petite shrimp ...

I landed in Denver, CO around 2PM…First things first, got the car and went to the local Wallly for grocery shopping. This is one shop I am sure will exist just about everywhere in the US! And guess what, I found a chipotle right next door! So after loading up on supplies and my own stomach, I headed to the peak-peak highway.
