I have finally reached Hangzhou. As the capital of the mighty Song Dynasty this city is the most advanced and splendid in the world. The city itself is very large, I would say nearly one hundred miles. Hangzhou is very different than any other city I have seen on the Silk Road because it is far larger and more advanced. ... tests but I was able to buy a book to help me learn my radicals (the base of all the characters, I never learned most of them!) And a few other books to read. I bought "Arabian Nights" (for when I'm more proficient,) and the Wives of Henry VII. This is a thin book and they have English and Chinese in it. We spent about 20 minutes trying to hail a cab before we gave up and took the packed bus home! In Tianjin you couldn't ...

... Western Lake then other areas. I must qualify this by saying that true beauty in reality really can’t be bought with money. But good hygiene can go a long ways in improving a person’s appearance…lol.

The next day, Sunday, I got up think that I would go to the same Chinese Church I went to last summer name Chong Yi Tang. But I thought you Know going to a Chinese Church is good practice for my Chinese but I still think its better for my ...
