    Cape Cod to Martha's Vineyard

... before shapes on the dance floor and stumbled home and had great difficulty getting the key in the door. Not surprisingly we slept like logs until midday the next day.

My vote is Cape Cod over Martha's Vineyard. MV is really quaint and all of the houses look like they are made from Ginger Bread though I just didn't like the overall vibe. Cape Cod seemed much more laid back, eclectic and real.

    Summary

Drove 112 miles in 1.5 hours.

    Highlights

I had no idea that Cape Cod was this close to Boston, it was a very easy and fast drive. I'm sure that in high season the route we took would be clogged up, however we had it almost to ourselves.

... is a wonderful place to visit during migration times if you are a birder. Many species that you will probably never see, will possibly be seen here.

We visited the Oldest Grist Mill in the country (1746) and it is still used to grind corn into meal for the tourist trade; and we also visited a cranberry bog on the island.

If you have never been here, it is worth making your bucket list!!

... have LOVED to see them. If you are like Nick and I, you are asking is she still alive? Well, it turns out so, that she is very much alive and vibrant at the age of 93!!! She and Tommy Tune (75) have been life long friends since they appeared together in Hello Dolly, when he was just 17. He calls her every day and they have been doing this show for awhile now. That ...
