Gorge State Park where the Malad River rushes into a steep 250-foot canyon on its way to the Snake River; the Niagara Springs State Park where the springs tumble down the canyon side at 250 cubic feet per second; and finally the Balanced Rock State Park where a giant wind-carved rock, 48 feet high and weighing 40 tons, stands precariously on a tiny rock pedestal 3 feet by 17 inches.
