Really, there isn't much to say. I think it was like $45 a night and it was reasonably clean. Just a place to lay your head. If you're looking for anything more, then you're out of luck.

We were both a little cranky by the time we finished, but the peace and quiet of the place made up for it. Quiet may be a misnomer. The park is home to some 300 and something species of birds and they are quite vocal and we love it! And we got to view the Super Moon at night. So far this trip has been filled with glorious ...

... morning at 6:23, still in the dark. Stopped at McDonald's in Las Vegas (NM, that is) for breakfast and just kept chugging along until we got to Springer, NM. There we headed on over into Texas and Oklahoma and eventually into Kansas.

This route was pretty much familiar to us because we went this way last year when we went to New-braska for me to do an orientation. After that gig, we drove ...

... between expletives the guy next to me would say really dude, I think he was referring to the snorer!Away, now I'm having a bit of a panic as we have not had internet for a while and I have not booked anywhere in Dodge City. Plus by the look of some of the stops along the way I'm starting to worry if there is even going to be a station where I can sit until it becomes light and make some calls. Turns out there is a station manned ...
