Really, there isn't much to say. I think it was like $45 a night and it was reasonably clean. Just a place to lay your head. If you're looking for anything more, then you're out of luck.

Then we got back on the road and spent a nice evening in Dodge City watching the Giants, and Madison Bumgartner, win the World Series! Yeahhhhhhhhhh! The next morning we toured the Boot Hill Museum and drove on toward Ft Collins. It was a fun ...

We were both a little cranky by the time we finished, but the peace and quiet of the place made up for it. Quiet may be a misnomer. The park is home to some 300 and something species of birds and they are quite vocal and we love it! And we got to view the Super Moon at night. So far this trip has been filled with glorious ...

... the destination of the long horn cattle drives from Texas. That's how it became a cowboy town. The Santa Fe Trail went by here and later the railroad. Quite an interesting history, more than you see on the TV show Gunsmoke. That evening we went to the dinner and show at Boot Hill. The show was in the Longhorn Saloon. The food was very good and the show was good. It was reminiscent of Branson. And of course they had the requisite shoot out in the street between the Marshall and the ...

Dodge City is a small town with its claim to fame being the legend of Wyatt Earp and wild west shoot - outs. They even have a re-enactment every night in the mocked up wild west Boot Hill area. We arrived in one piece at a less than ...

... farm. No, nothing like that, this smell almost knocked you out. And then we came upon a huge Tyson chicken plant. Add that smell to the stew of stink. And we kept coming upon these atrocious feed lots almost all the way to Colorado.
It's easy to see that Dodge City was a major railroad town, established to ship those stinkin' cattle, I guess. It has the Boot Hill Museum and the depot has ...
