... connect with yet. My assigned ride partner was Mitchell, which was great! We spent a good 55miles of the 86mile ride on dirt, gravel, sand or a combination thereof. I fell twice in the sand sections, which was mostly hilarious and mostly not painful at all. We also hit our halfway point in terms of mileage! Crazy to think we are about a month out of San Diego. Friday we crossed into Kansas. This day ...

... d known that coming in BEFORE we had the trailer backed in, unhitched, and level. So out we came, filled up the freshwater tank, then repositioned. We were both a little cranky by the time we finished, but the peace and quiet of the place made up for it. Quiet may be a misnomer. Oh and by the way, we've figured out how to change the points on the map as we noticed it wasn't really showing the route we took each day. It should now show a more exact account of our travels- even the flight from England.

Really, there isn't much to say. I think it was like $45 a night and it was reasonably clean. Just a place to lay your head. If you're looking for anything more, then you're out of luck.
