Really, there isn't much to say. I think it was like $45 a night and it was reasonably clean. Just a place to lay your head. If you're looking for anything more, then you're out of luck.

We decided to stay in Dodge City on our way to Ft Collins Colorado. After a very poor choice in Springfield, Mo. we made a more careful choice for our hotel in Dodge City. But because it was Steve's birthday we looked for restaurants ahead and found few choices. So we had a late lunch in Wichita that was very, very good. Steve ...

... of my first thoughts and impressions. I shall do another tomorrow night as a round up and overall summary. Been to Boot Hill Museum Today where you see a replica western style street dating back to the 1870's, the replica street is not on the original site due to it burning down several times and brick houses eventually being built in the late 1880's. Learnt about the buffalo, indians and their movement onto ...

... repair. Don't worry, the hearing aids still work but don't try to call him on his cell phone cause he won't be able to hear you very well. While we were out, we took a driving tour through the central part of the city, most of which has brick paved streets. Considering how old they must be they're in good condition but no matter how good they might be, riding on them in a Dodge truck makes for a rough ride. We stopped for a Blizzard at DQ, along with everyone else in ...

... hills to FLAT in Kansas. They call Kansas the Wheat State and know I know why. The day ended as I said with me being blinded but the temp was back up 32c and a light breeze - almost perfect.
The only worry I had was a sign outside a factory "Tornado Shelters" and you know where I am.
Only two pics today but will be touring Dodge again tomorrow morning so lots more then.

... resless sleep. Eventually after ignoring the alarm and snoozing it for a while we got up at about 10am. We got ourselves ready, didnt bother with breakfast and left at around 11am. the temp was already in the mid 80's. Laura navigated us to the road we needed with ease and i got my foot down for just over an hour before we decided to turn of and get some fuel for the car and us. I filled the tank, payed at pump and parked up so we could go shopping, it ...
