... Creek. Lunch on the edge of the creek then we walked the Trail of the Cedars boardwalk trail, with lots of informative signs. Back in the shuttle up the pass, changed buses and back to St Mary Visitor Centre. Saw a couple of coyotes, more goats and a Bighorn Sheep, no bears. (Glacier is renowned for bears). Topped up with fuel, as cheaper than Canada tomorrow. Back to camp next to the creek again, for a Bar BQ ...

Left our campsite late and explored the Many Glacier section of the NP. You could see three glacier remnants from the roadside, all predicted to be melted away by 2030. ... is very rustic. Sits on Lake MacDonald with its pristine waters. We went to the lounge and shared a charcuterie platter with game meats (bison pastrami, elk sausage, and duck), goat cheese and another white cheese, with baguette slices and pickles. Delish! Forgot to take a photo! Too hungry to eat the snack!

The park is 1 million acres with 25 shrinking glaciers, 750 lakes, and over 700 miles of trails. This is a hiker's paradise. Said shrinking ...

... on the Little Chief which took us down the lake to Baring Falls. The lake was like glass which according to the Ranger at the dock, was very uncommon.

We decided to split off at Baring Falls. The kids wanted to hike a little more adventurous hike up Siyeh Pass (10+ mile round trip with an elevation gain of 3440 ft.) and Rob and I decided to do St. Mary Falls on to Virginia Falls (5 miles mostly around the edge of St. Mary ...
