... good day to walk the trail, too. What a surprise to meet up with them. Bear scat was mounded on the trail as well. I was relieved to not be surprised by one of them as we hiked. The trees were just beginning to turn color, and the meadow was dotted with the yellow, pink, red, and purple colors of fall wildflowers. Day three in the park brought the first snowfall of the season. At first we decided to weather the storm and see how the RV held up in freezing temperatures. It was ...

This campground was beautiful and we were lucky enough to score ...

In the following years it was the home of the first Jesuit theologate and industrial arts school in the Northwest, the first Catholic Sisters and Catholic school in Montana, and the first hospital, sawmill, flour mill, printing press, carpenter shop and blacksmith shop in the Mission Valley.
Today there remains only the Mission church, built in 1891 and now a ...

      the area.

      After the nice visit we
returned to the east side of the park via the “Road to the Sun” and went to the
Park Café for sandwiches and pie. Every
time we have gone past the café, it has been swamped with people and it is most
famous for its pies, over fifteen different kinds. Waiter told us that the café makes ...
