Fun Family Time - and Lake Huron Beach Time, too
A great weekend with Pyke Family and friends, celebrating Cousin Janice's 50th and letting Zach get to know his Pyke side of the family! BUNCHES of great food, Bocce Ball, and chasing the dogs around the huge, park-like yard kept Zach going most of the time. On Monday, when all our friends were celebrating Independence Day - we had a lazy day at the Goderich Municipal Beach, where Zach got to swim in Lake Huron and skip stones all afternoon!

Heading back to the USA!
... of the partially frozen river, and the ducks, geese, seagulls, and swans playing on the ice. BRRRRRR.
Had a grumpy CBP inspector, but no problems getting back into the good ole U.S. of A!
Long drive home, but home at last, safe and sound!
Had a wonderful trip with some great folks, and I plan to go back!

Slow start today....turkey bog-down
... outlet store. Also very pricey. Back to the house for some chicken noodle soup.
Off to watch Braydon play hockey in a bit. Freezing outside, and it'll be cold in the arena as well!

Boxing day in Canada!
Got up at 0930am and waited for everyone else to get up so we could go back to Shirley and Ealr's for brunch for 13. YUMMY! "Wife Saver" (breakfast casserole made last night) and lots of other wonderful stuff.
Met Connie's brother, Andy, his wife, Rose, and their son, Deitrich.
