nächsten tage und wollt ein economy billigsteil halt - sagt einer zu
mir wo fahrst den du hin - sag ich nach LA letztendlich, er drauf na
dann nimm dir den roten mustang der muss eh dort hin. ich: nagut, und dachte nur na hoffentlich passt mein koffer dort hinten rein (juhu grad so); so fahr ich
jetzt mit einem roten cabrio mustang mit viel zu viel power spazieren.

... Matilda’s lies were enough to "gasp and stretch one’s eyes" – that’s how I felt seeing some of the outrageous ostentation there. One highlight, however, was the fountain show outside the Bellagio Hotel which was actually very beautiful and set to music. A tasteful interlude amongst all the bling!

Vegas marked the end of our tour of the South West. Next stop: New York and the East Coast.

... the more traditional breakfast items!! Euan had to have the pizza that morning just for the novelty value, however, everyone else stuck to the more traditional fare. After we'd all eaten more than we should we took a taxi to the Premium Outlet mall for some bargain hunting and some delicious ice cream at The Fudgery. ... rises out of the middle of the desert. We drove to our hotel, The Riviera, and got checked in. Our hotel (and casino) is one of the oldest and most famous in the city and thankfully because of the downturn in the economy…was super cheap too. Take a guess how much a night costs in Las Vegas? Keep in mind it has a huge pool, every amenity you can imagine…free parking, great location, etc. Go on..guess. Did you guess $27? If so, you’re right!

... no humidity, we're tolerating it well. Decided to check out the other Las Vegas Outlet Shops, much the same shops as the Premium Outlets, a little older but all indoors whereas the other ones are outdoors. Josh was happy by the time we left, he has more Heelys, a size larger than the ones he has at home. He'll have to wear his others when we get back then change over, mind you, his feet have grown again ...

... party atmosphere (more then normal) and the number of police cars and ambulances that we saw walking home at 2/3am was probably a good indication of this! We went to Hooters for the first time tonight and had some 25 cent buffalo wings with ranch sauce. I know I was a little drunk but they were sooo good. I think that pretty much sums up Vegas. We will definately be back!

... très marrant... en fait, c'est le seul moment de mes vacances où le fait d'être seule me "pèse"... en plus, j'ai croisée une (pauvre) fille dans l'ascenseur, complètement bourrée et dépitée... qui me demandait comment faire pour rentrer chez elle car Las Vegas ne lui convenait pas: faire la fête, tomber sur des cons et surtout se faire planter par sa "*****" de copine, c'en était trop pour elle. Pathétique! Bref, finalement 20h à Vegas, c'est bien assez pour moi!
