    ... Horseshoe Falls, resplendent in sun, vapour and partial invisibility. As we got nearer, the watery vapour spread everywhere and the water ponchos given before the trip started offered minimal resistance to the downpour. An amazing experience nonetheless - the boat at full throttle, it would seem, to counteract the force of the falling water, heading nowhere faced with a raging, teeming torrent.
    Wet, but envigorated, it was back to shore and a short walk closer ...

    ... down to get a closer look at the falls! They were amazing, but it was freezing and the closer we got the temperature kept dropping, there was more ice and more mist coming off the falls- we were saturated after only taking a few photos close to the falls, worth it though. We had tickets to the journey behind the falls, where u can walk in the tunnels behind and the see the falls, however it was still so cold they were frozen over!! We were disappointed but not ...

    ... with a donut of course. You just couldn't possible go to Tim Horton and not get a donut.

    We walked and walked along the river. Stopped off to check out one of the many casinos, we wanted to gamble a little but the machines didn't have a coin slot only a credit card or casino card slot .... that was enough to put us off .... $$$ saved.

    ... a ride on the 'Maid of the Mist' where we got absolutely drenched as it takes you right up to the wall of water. Also did the 'Behind the Falls' walk, again, got very wet. Little bit about the daredevils of Niagara Falls. Apparently in 1901, a retired teacher Annie Taylor (and her cat) was the first person to conquer the falls inside a wooden barrel.
