Ok, please know that there is a Sequoia National Forest & it's much different than the Sequoia NP. My biggest error of the trip, changing up the roads we were on cause it was boring. Never again. We drove through the mountains in this RV. Thought we were going to die. Dad was driving it in low gear the entire time. State road 155 to 178, near Kern & Woody, CA. We met Steve after work back at the hotel at 4pm ...

As you move up the mountain the vegetation changes and the forest get thicker and the trees get taller! And then you see the ...

The Hanford area in SE Washington State was selected as the site for several planned reactors to make Plutonium. The very remote area, and with the electrical power from the Grand Coulee Dam, and the ...

... to get to the trees (the park is about the same size as the IOM), our journey also took a little longer as Mateo felt sick - he has supposedly developed car sickness in the past few weeks. When we reached the trees we took a mini hike around the area before looking at the Great Sherman - the trees weren't actually the tallest in the world but instead this tree was the largest by area. We then headed back down the mountain and stopped off to take a picture of this rock on ...
