      Driving to maine we decided to open a Disco tech bar with Mashups of modern day pop re-mixed disco. Tvs, led disco ball, and roller skates. Le Disco Tech was born. Visited USM so basil could really re-live his days working the mailroom, and his daily meetups on the smokers bench. And they have Creamsicle colored fire hydrants. Found a little spot to get brunch, The Front room- amazing corned beef ...

      ... sand. I thought it was odd that it didn't try to either get away or get aggressive with her. So after leashing her up I got closer and saw that it was a baby, and it was injured (it had a gash on it's shoulder).

      There was no cell signal on the beach, so we headed back to the parking lot where we ran into a couple of local surfers. They suggested calling Wild Care Cape Cod, which then connected me to the IFAW Marine ...

      ... II docked in port (the Bluenose is on our CDN dime). We drove on the coastal route Hwy 10 to Peggy's Cove and its was beautiful in an ethereal way with the fog and the tiny seaside villages. We toured downtown Halifax with Kens cousin as our tour guide and toured the Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax which was very interesting. The Museum of Immigration also has a Family History ...

      ... preserved area with a loop road that we drove around and along the way we stopped for different views and wandered down walking trails.  The scenery varied from the mountain top bedrock and ground cover, to tall firs, deciduous foliage, rugged coastline, running streams and sandy beaches.  We even stopped by a lake with beaver homes built in it. Though we didn’t see a beaver, we did get fairly close to a red squirrel as he chowed ...

      ... everyone else. It took a while to work out what speed limits applied as there aren't the regular signs that we are used to seeing. We worked it out and with one navigating and one driving and both not trying to do each others 'job' we got it all down pat. What a team!!
