... 2. Taco Tuesday. As I downed my tacos, I tried to focus on my delightful morning and let go of my fear of the alarming afternoon. But I went to bed with my gut in knots, tossing and turning, my head spinning with visions of being crushed by a 100 ton logging truck.
We spent 2 days in Iron Mountain, Michigan. It is a nice little town with connections to Henry Ford, lumber for transporting cars and Kingsford, charcoal. The town is really split in 2, Iron Mountain and Kingsford with the total population of 16,000. We went to Pine Mountain Ski jump and hiked up the 500 stairs. It was a nice stress test!! The ski jump is one of the largest artificial ski jumps in the USA.
