      ... it did not snow any more last night! The roads are clear and there is only a couple of inches along the roads. Finished my food to take and about 1 we headed to Kristin’s. A bit more snow out their way but none on the roads. There were 12 for dinner but we could have easily fed 25 or more!!       ... town is 99% Muslim. There are many trees and the area just looks more prosperous. Our hotel here is Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul Golden Horn, and you need to use door cards to operate the elevator and the electricity.       ... chief of police had his eye on! If you confessed to being a witch or having made a pact with the devil you were freed but would lose all your land. If you did not confess and were found guilty and hanged then the land would be possessed by the court and chief constable.       ... talk later. He is also a writer, ready to publish and really a nice guy. Hope to see him again. So that may be 2 books sold today. It is no longer snowing so walk back- about mile was not bad, though it was slippery! Met a lady and college age daughter having a night out-they had gone to see Nutcracker Ballet, and loved it. We talked with them for a while, very enjoyable, and then on home to relax for the evening.

      ... and then dinner at Felicia’s. We took Phil’s book cover in a frame to Felicia’s. They have walls of photos of famous people that have eaten there and they had asked for Phil’s. We have enough leftovers for tomorrow night. Came home and argued politics till I went to bed.
