      August 14th- I was able to leave around 11:30 for home. Enjoyed my visit with James. It is a long drive home from here-and I did not get there till 7pm! That did include a half hour nap at a rest area. Those LA on area roads are scary – so glad I do not have to do that every day! Palm Springs had a temp of 107!!
