After a quick conversation about the massive gas bill we are accumulating on this RV (6-7 mpg) we thought about ways to just ditch it and fly home or rent a car and leave it in the nearest Wal Mart until we came back for it. Many creative ways were brought up on what to do with our stuff too!

Our drive through Kansas yesterday was flat with rolling hills. Eastern Colorado is more of the same. Christina found Kansas to be stunning.

... but we were moving! Those who moved too fast ended up stuck on the side of the road. We didn't want to join them so took it very cautiously. We reached Laramie after a slow 2 hours of driving only to find they had closed the I-80 again.
Decided then to head south to the I-70 rather than waiting for the I-80 to reopen. this brought is down into Colorado where we skirted Denver ending up at Burlington for the night. What a day. ...
