... to go on 287 and stay overnight on Green Mountain in a camp called Cottonwood. Before reaching Muddy Gap I passed Independence Rock, and shortly after I drove into 'Martin Cove's Visitors' Center'. It is one of two 'Mormon Handcart Historic Sites' in Wyoming. 'Elder Dawson' greeted me with a big smile and offered to show me the center. Before the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad in 1869 half a million ...

The last day of ISGE was much less clamorous than the one before it. With two 4 mile days ahead, each with a very steady decline of 400 feet, the end was in sight. My demeanor was calm but excited. Everyone enjoyed the day and made the most of the ...

... couldn't move her arm at all. Victory for Team Win.

Everyone in my group was feeling a quite hungry and tired that night, so we decided to leave no stone unturned in getting the squad back to full strength. And so began the cooking of 2 full pounds of macaroni and cheese. The 5 smiles nestled around the stoves beamed with delight, as two pots of pasta cooked simultaneously. Not a single shred of food was left between the 5 of us, and once hungry, unhappy ...
