Stayed here on Tuesday night. Went to the Logging Museum, amazed at all the progress that they have made. They have also built a new Amphitheater. In California State Parks are closing and here in Oregon they are still very reasonable ($22.00 per night with full hook ups and showers), they are improving them, the gas is cheaper and is full service and they have no sales tax. Interesting how trains attract all kinds of people ...We spent part of Memorial Day at the Klamath & Western Railway in Chiliquin OR.... its an 1/8 scale track and they now have something like 36 miles on 2400 acres... lots of track and lots of engines, cars, and about 24-30 full size rail cars to visit and see... plus a ride around some of the property.... it was cool and starting to drizzle so we didn't tour the complete grounds, but will go back with ...
