After a hearty American breakfast, Bruce & MJ took us on a trip to the north end of the island to the Barnegat lighthouse. It is no longer in operation but still very much an icon of "The Shore"..
Pretty quiet afternoon - most of Bruce & Mary Jrelatives were still here after the wedding yesterday so met them all and we just basically sat around - pretty cold outside today so it was a nice interlude.
Great BBQ dinner and nice wine to finish off the day. ...
Drove on the outskirts of Philadelphia - parts of that city look just great so hopefully we will go there on our way from New York to Washington in a couple of weeks with Alan, Chrissie & Robbie.

Was funny to see parking bays outside a bank that were horse stalls with signs that say "customer parking ...

The last stop of the day was in Waterville, PA. There is a classic country store here that we enjoy. Lance had ice cream while I looked around. We found a Christmas gift, so we have a headstart for the holidays. We drove through Lock Haven and returned to The Nature Inn. It was a lovely day with blue skies and temps in the 70's....doesn't get much better than this.
