After yesterday's fishing trip and a beautiful day on the water we are blessed once again with a sun shiny day. The camp manager says we are fortunate because this is not the norm for this time of year. Lots of rain and cool to cold temps normally. It does get down to the upper 40's at night but has been warming up to the mid 60's.

... met at the small boat harbour on the Spit where we were to be picked up by 2 water taxis. There are lots of these small boats that ferry hikers, campers and kayakers and their gear to various remote locations across the bay and pick people up at pre-arranged times and places. ... checked in on Wednesday night at 8pm. If we get the keys for the boat tonight we will head out to sea Wednesday night and pull an all night and day.
Well its time to cook some breakfast since we all just got up. I can smell those bacon pancakes now.

... At present we are doing our best to fit in with the locals...enjoying a beer with a Pork Roast on the BBQ. No real plans for the next few days. We will do our best to enjoy everything that Alaska has to offer during our last week here.
