The real start of the holiday! Having sampled the Falls on our recce, we could now get down to the serious business of getting up close. The "Classic" Adventure pass seemed the best value option, 4 'attractions' for a discount price. And it was into Denny's for our first full-on breakfast and then "Down by the riverside" (Ken Collyer) to sample our first wet ...

After that we went to have a look at a house that had been ...

This morning we left Horseheads and made our way up to Niagara Falls. A couple of stops along the way for ice cream and to check out another random roadside amusement park.

Driving towards Niagara, I thought I saw some smoke in the air. Turns out it was the mist from the falls! You can see it from miles away, literally. I started to get a bit excited...

We pulled into town on ...

Howdy folks,

On Sunday, having finished our DC sightseeing, we had a lazy morning while Joel and Holly rushed the kids off to church at 7am. We joined them a few hours later for the 10:45am service and saw Joel playing piano and both of them singing on stage, so that was really good to see. Their church is pretty modern despite the outside appearance with a full band and on screen projector to help out with the songs and sermon. After the service, we stopped into an ...
