    ... christened her new beach toys for about 10 mins while Phoebe practised cartwheels then we got moving again. Bypassed Santa Monica and headed up to Malibu which is beautiful, basically a strip sandwiched between the beach and the mountains.     ... day, he got an understanding of how to stand on the paddle board. Also, to his advantage the water was very calm today. He had a great surfing lesson with 2-3 very cool surfs. One of them is posted below for viewing.

    Finally we headed back to Fremont, CA. We arrived at night by around 8 PM. Tired, but relaxed and fully rejuvenated ( if you know what we mean).That’s it.

We then drove into Beverley Hills, which is defined by extreme wealth, but without the 'other worldliness' of Mullholland Drive and therefore much more appealing.     ... eventually a dry cleaners who gave him left over bedding that people hadn't collected! (At least they were clean!) the electric assortment of bedding leaves a lot to be desired but it does serve a purpose for my childrens comfort.
