... so I got to see the ocean view in NB which are often obscured by a thick morning fog.

We arrived at Alpine Valley campground at 7 pm and managed to pitch our tents before dark. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. I had baked salmon and it was delicious as were the vegetables and salad. Now I need to go into food coma before morning comes.

... to play in. We also crossed a massive tree bridge that fell across the falls. It did bounce a bit when a biker began jumping up and down on it saying "See! It’s stable". We ate a quick trail lunch of apples and nuts before heading back to our campsite.

... 2. We drove by here four years ago on our “fall colors” trip.

The forecast is for rain for the next couple of days, We had a light shower this afternoon after we arrived.

Tomorrow, we plan on going to Dog Mountain to the dog chapel with Molly, and will at least go to Cabot, VT and check out their cheeses.

... many photo stops, we assumed we'd be at the summit within three hours total. We were advised that experienced hikers make the climb in 4-5 hours, but plan for all day. They must say this for the average Joe that wants to hike it. Turns out the second half was the hard part.
