... climbing on some waterside rocks and taking in the view, we enjoyed incredible sandwiches at a bakery in Wells called Borealis. Got back in the car to head up to Portland, but were only about five miles from the bakery when nils got a flat tire! (His third in the last 6 months, something about the alignment of his wheels causing the inside of tire to rub and wear against the car). Being knackered after our hike made it easier to leave the Adirondacks (alive!) and all we could think about was getting to Burlington (Vermont), where our next AirBnB was booked.
