Before our trip, I ordered the Vermont and New Hampshire Visitor's Guides. After wading through pages on restaurants and retail, lodging and events, I still couldn't figure out a list of things I want to do/see. Most of the brochures are organized by region,; North, South, East, West. How do I know what region I want to visit?

Since I don't find the brochures helpful, for the past few years I'v used TripAdvisor to plan our trips. ...
