We all love this campground in the Eldorado Forest, so we stay around until checkout time at 1pm: swimming, rafting/tubing in the stream.

... we passed through were beautiful in their own ways. Driving through the desert across Nevada and Utah and the grass fields and the snowcapped Rocky Mountains across Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado not once but twice was a real treat.
The other best part of this long holiday was that we got a wonderful opportunity to spend time first with Kiran and Chandni in Folsom, then with Neha and Pushkar in Minneapolis and finally ...

I am so ready to come home now. Will leave early in the morning. Am going to stop in Bend and see Tom and Jen Cooper. Probably stay overnight and get home Tuesday morning.

I learned so much on this trip. I won't do another trip like this. I might send out videos to my email list since I took some cool ones but this website doesn't accept my video files.

... realized that the entire embankment the edges of the trail were marked with blackberry bushes and they started going to town picking and eating the berries. Angie walked out to a larger rock with the river rushing by all around and just enjoyed the sound of the water and watching all of the river rafting boats and people on inner-tubes pass by as they drifted downstream...such a beautiful site!
