We drove to Lake Washington and went on an airboat ride. It was a small boat without a roof and it had a big propeller on the back like a plane. It went really fast and could go over low bridges and through the reeds and bushes. We saw some alligators.

It finally got warm enough on the 18th to go to the beach and sit. Last September Wolf and I saw some unique beach chairs that you carry on your back like a backpack and you can carry items in a pouch that is attached to the back. We liked them so we purchased a couple and this is the first time we have used them. The beach was fun and not very crowded,but the water still very cold. We left Stuart with full fuel and water tanks at 7:50 am. Headed down the St. Lucie River (past where we ran aground-see pic) and took a left and headed North on the ICW at St. Lucie Inlet.
