      Readying for the Road

      ... worrying what all I've forgotten on the list that is finally being written down.

      The packing itself takes little, except that for 2 weeks, we need more entertainment and other assorted items. It's the preparation to leave the house for two weeks- buying cat food, doing cleaning and yardwork, making phone calls. While I take my work with me, there's things that need to get done now vs. later.

      ... on it's own power, causing it to have to reset and reload all it's programming. This was probably the toughest part of the trip as we sat in the plane for 15 to 20 minutes without going anywhere and we were all eager to be reunited with our loved ones.

      ... we were getting prepped for our big night out! We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and wicked music till 2:30am. We bopped from stage to stage, while Zoe slept soundly with her pink noise-cancelling headphones on and was successfully transferred to her bed on return to our site.
