... seemed to flow right into the ocean. I adore swimming! It was such a treat to get some exersise in a pool that was a bit easier to manage than the ocean and yet everytime I took a breath, ocean was in sight, as if I was in it. And of course I got in the ocean :) The water was warm and salty and clear aqua blue. A color thats impossible to capture in a picture. Another favorite day in sydney was climbing the sydney bridge. We caught the train to Sydney early this morning for $8 which is a bargain for an hour and a half journey! When we arrived we went to a cafe to meet Felicity who is the woman Jessie has been in contact with about au pairing. Plus she was also ok with myself staying and paying rent which some of ...

And the answer being “NO” leaves you in an awkward position. If it ...

... survived that disappointment and still had a brilliant time.

After breakfast there was about an hour allotted where each group got to go in the enclosure and stand by the ladies (oh yes, it was all female koalas in the trees). She answered any questions we had, took professional photos of us next to one, and as many pics as we liked with our own cameras. Due to the toxins in the eucalyptus and how hard it is for them to digest, they basically spend ...

    A magnificent looking city

We have now been in Sydney for three full days, it has to be one of the most attractive vibrant cities we have visited not only on this trip but many others. Reminds me of a much larger version of Vancouver, has one of the largest harbours in the world, homes built around all the water, most of it very expensive, a very attractive skyline with lots of new buildings along with many restored sandstone buildings from the late 1880's early 1900's that have been renovated to their ...
