... Day swim. We swam for about 1.5k! Which is crazy because I hate swimming in the sea but I actually really enjoyed it! The next couple of days we chilled around paihia even tho the weather wasn't that great we went to the beach a lot. On the 28th we caught a bus back to Auckland. ... immediately got an uninterrupted view of the Opera House and felt relieved that we had made it and there were not many people. Not being content with the views available from around the bridge, as we could actually not see the side of the bridge, we explored further around the area and along the water edge. ... and the countdown started the fireworks where amazing but there's too many bloody trees in the botanical gardens!
