And at the kids' school, on day 5, there was a mandatory swimming carnival for kids in 3rd grade and up.     ... on our way, first stop-welcome to Las Vegas sign. Skipping the line to take a photo from the side we were then on our way to the hotel. Drove past the pyramid and Egypt hotel. Must go back there to take photos. I was able to check in early and the room is very nice, with a balcony. Feels so big with little old me rattling around inside.     ... the clock we had to solve the puzzles to escape from the room.

    We were given an hour but gosh did that hour go by quickly. We were all doing really well but not well enough. Our hours were up and we were still stuck in the rooms.

    The boys did make it out first but only just! The girls planned it that way actually so the boys had a chance to get a cup of tea for them when they got out!

    ... watching too. There were lots of different people. Elizabeth buried me in the sand. After a couple of hours, we made our way back to the hotel, really tired and covered in sand, and enjoyed a dinner of pizza in our hotel room while watching old episodes of Friends! My mom says it was one of her favourite shows.

    It was an awesome day. I have been waiting for this for so long and I loved it.
