... and then decided we had better get going for our train trip home.

Encountered a sprinkle of rain whilst walking to the train and came across the most amazing light show yet. Watched for a little while, but plan to revisit this spot again on Monday night, hopefully in fine weather.

I had a great time with Angela and Paul last night, hung out with the kiddos and had a delicious lamb roast with great conversation! I ended up just sleeping there because it was a bit complicated to get home late at night and we had a few glasses of wine :) In the morning we had pancakes then went with the kids on a lovely walk through the trails by their house. It was gorgeous! It actually felt a bit like home ...

... 8217; and ‘Sydney’ go together, would you? Well... you would be wrong! We found the perfect campsite at Lane Cove in a beautiful rural forest in North Ryde. As we set up camp amongst wandering bush turkeys, squawking yellow crested cockatoos, laughing kookaburras and beautiful rainbow lorikeets, we couldn’t believe downtown Sydney was only 30 minutes away by train. This place was an oasis of ...
