On the way back to NEPA, we stopped and checked out the Delaware Water Gap, which FYI, is not in Delaware ;) Next stop, an invite from our new Boathouse friend, Garrett, to a NASCAR race at Pocono Raceway, at the end of turn one on the fence of the infield - that's a mouthful! We were able to tour the machine shop, part of the original yard, still a working shop filled with gigantic equipment used to repair and fabricate parts to keep the steam beasts running.

Part of the original roundhouse from 1902-1937 has been rehabilitated ...

... ourselves by stopping at our favorite grocery store, Wegmans! Like a beckoning beacon of hope, Wilkes-Barre PA Wegmans displayed on our GPS! Wow, an opportunity to visit one of their amazing café’s, sit down for a civilized lunch and stock up on some truly great grub. Just what the doctor ordered. However, Wegman’s wasn’t as perfect as we thought. How dare they not take into consideration a customer with a 50’ long vehicle! We ...
