The end of our journey is in sight!! We stayed near Detroit on Tuesday night and crossed back into Canada at Sarnia and headed down to Point Pelee - Canada's most southern point before going to Shiela and Rob's last night. ... The locals tell me this restaurant used to be a hotel. Bodies are now buried under the property from years ago when deceased family members couldn't afford to move the bodies to a different cemetery. ... and Marla ended up napping for a good 2-3 hours (I like to imagine in a big pile, like puppies) while I read and napped on my favorite couch outside on the patio. We went out for dinner to a new Mexican restaurant in Ypsilanti (the town between Willis and Ann Arbor) and the following morning, after double- and triple-checking everywhere on the farm for my possessions, I bid the Keenes farewell and hit the road.
