    ... ever thought of a skydive. Absolute weirdo.

    The tandem guy calmly said "Right Sam are you ready? Repeat everything that I've just told you" "er you jump" oh dear. That was it I had flashbacks to childhood memories all the happy times, my life flashed before me. I had no chance.

    3,2,1..... Jump.... I won't bore you with the details the pictures speak for themselves...

    Well today was our trip from Napier to Lake Taupo .... We got up rather late, had brekky, the day was sunny and nice, went to tour the Art Deco town...as Napier suffered from an earthquake in 1938 and the town was rebuilt in that era...pretty town...went to beach again....very black rocky beach but looked so much better than yesterday.....lots of interesting things to do along beach like art stages, kids bike ramps, flowere gardens, etc....but somewhat ...

    ... some cringe filming we got on the rickety plane that was going to take us up to 15,000 feet. I was sat at the back and so could smell the plane fumes which made me want to have a bilious attack and Daisy cried. We got so high up we were given oxygen masks and after a 20 minute plane journey it was time to jump.     The weather was absolutely boiling by now so as we drove to the natural thermal hot pools we realised we may not want to spend too much time on them. There were quite a few people already down by the main pool but we walked a little way up stream to find the really hot pools. We reached the end of the walkway after having climbed god knows how many steps, and waited for the ferry to take us back across the river where we took advantage of the visitor cafe.
