I'm not that well balanced at the best of times, when you put your foot down and it slips all the way back is not fun. Then we got to the snow line! When there are chains in the cliff face for you to pull yourself up on....eeeek. We got there ...

... while the plane reaches higher and higher. 15,000ft is reached, the hatch is rolled up and pair by pair we are all out of then plane in 20 seconds. The expected falling sensation is absent, air rushes upwards to my face and body. I arch back and keep my legs up as instructed. I look around and am in awe. I wave to my camera man and pose a little but quickly get back to the views. My instructor starts making us go in circles, I start waving my finger at him No No ...

... fell smack bang on my head and all Colm could do was laugh and say "I didn't know you would go head in!" He is laughing right now as we recall the incident! With not long left, we went on the slides a few times before the bus horned beeped and we all had to leave. It was the best stop we have had on the trip!

It was a long stretch until the next stop of Taihape. It was here we smooched around the new world supermarket picking up an onion that ...
