    ... he Portland Museum of Art for a day, taking a break mid-afternoon to snag a table at Duck Fat Restaurant. Even though we arrived at 2:30 p.m., there was a 30 minute wait and we didn't mind at all. We were in for a treat with the house specialty of duck fat fried French fries topped with duck gravy and a fried egg! So very good, so decadent and so enjoyable. Yet, we were pleased with ourselves that we had shared one large order between the four of us!

    Sunny and 58 degrees. We had to turn on the furnace today as we are getting closer to Canada and moving away from the equator.
