... we did this past spring during our northern migration up to Oregon. This helps stretch our fuel budget.
All this to say as we prepare for this circumnavigation, we figure to drive 4000 miles over a 3 week period across the northern USA then only 2000 miles during the next 4 months down the atlantic seaboard so it will even out better. In future years our fuel bills will decline as we drive less and stay longer in one place.

beyond that i had some sad and secluded times this summer. it got a little clicky i felt at times with all the resort employees. it was spoken like all were one and together for all social stuff but it truly wasnt this way all the time. i saw people purposely not invited to stuff...and sometimes that person was me. *side note- if u dont remember from previous entries the thoroughfare is a 2 mile long river like entrance u take to get to upper lake. Its the only way to get to upper....and upper is prisitine and has no development allowed on it.
