We spent the rest of the afternoon wandering around just looking at the sites.
Just as we're walking downstairs to catch the subway, I heard the all too familiar Aussie accent. Of course I turned to see who it belonged to and it was a couple of mums from Warrandyte, doing a similar thing to us. About four weeks in the US but in reverse direction. I knew I would see someone's we know.

I've had a great week in New York City catching up with friends, new and old. I wish all of them the best in the hectic, yet wholly enjoyable, city-life that they are leading. As for me, I am very excited to finally embark on this trip. I think I've got everything in place and with a little bit of luck, this is going to be epic.
