We decided a boat ride would be a great way to see Lake George. Our boat was named Mohican, and gave us a great ride around the lake. The lake is 32 miles long as has lots of history. We were surprised at how populated the lake is with homes and just how popular the lake is for boaters. The state owns numerous islands where you can camp with limited amenities, but you must have a boat as that is the only way to ...

... had seen. This was a resort owned by the YMCA. It is a place a lot of family's come to relax and join in good old family activities.

On the drive to the YMCA we saw several nice little towns, Bolton and Bolton Landing. All the little towns along the lake have motels, restaurants and plenty of tourists.

The Lake George area is hopping!!!

... rest after our first three in a row back from the lovely break. We hit the ground running and didn’t stop until we were at the hotel room. I slept for three hours than went out to the local Wal-Mart for a few small items. After returning back to my room, I chilled out for a bit and went to bed. I can’t believe how tired I am.

... its a shame I have to leave tomorrow, but I'm looking forward to the Bronx. I've heard lots about the NYISE, so I'm hoping it lives up to the hype. I know some people are worried about this part of my trip, but I'm from Coventry, it's fine ;) No idea if I will have wifi there, so will update when I can. I'm still sad to have missed the school production and the prom, but I'm learning so it's ok. Also only 4 sleeps until the much beloved meets me in NYC, so that's exciting ...

    Wow that was some storm...........

Ok so I made it to Saratoga Springs today, but not before being rudely awakened by a storm at 3 a.m. I stayed in Albany and I thought the top was about to come off the hotel. The lightening was incredible (Nicki you would not have coped). The big difference here is that most of the lightening is fork lightening. You know at home when you have a few hot days and then a storm, imagine that after 30 red hot days so x10. There were 6 tornados seen that travelled ...
